Seeing you was enough to make me forget the pain.
I made life in the end, that was what made it worth it, and you will be my finest legacy. No matter what else I make, you will be how I'm remembered and I know you'll make me proud.
I dedicate this silly poem to you, my sleeping newborn:
In my arms I held life.
I held the Angel of Light.
With wings and chains that are untied.
They will be bi, they will eat pie.
They will be a human being given to fly.
And fly they will, high, sky high!
Until the eye in the sky shoots them down and they die.
It was a painful process to birth you, that I cannot deny.
But I must say goodbye to my youth and hello to my new ally.
Hello, my new gremlin...
I love you.
And if you will ever read this, remember that.
Mommy loves you.
And she'll never leave you.
